IED 心理學學士實習生 - Lina Wong (2013)

在共融教室實習的日子實在令我對SEN學生的知識增長不少。最令我印象深刻的是實習期間的觀課及帶領小組活動,透過觀察教育心理學家及一眾導師的課堂,我更能掌握課堂的實戰技巧,而不再是紙上談兵;我更有機會親自帶領小組活動,在預備教材、撰寫教案的過程中學會如何切合SEN學生的需要。共融教室給了我一個機會初嘗教學滋味,當中最大的得著便是令我更確定自己將來的路向,向理想繼續努力!

實習所得

我在共融教室實習期間學到不少,特別是在與 SEN 學生相處和溝通的技巧上,對於課堂上的一些知識也可應用實踐。尤其是學到不少一些直接面對事主的技巧,雖然仍然有不少需要改善的空間,但是也訓練了我運用所學到的各種技巧與知識,為我累積更多的經驗。另外,因為我沒有為 SEN 學生設計課程內容的經驗,所以對於內容,我都會有些困難和缺漏。不過在過程中令我反省到自己的不足之處,也令我對SEN的學生明白不少。盡管困難不少,但我沒有放棄,不斷改善我的缺失,務求能盡我所能,做到最好,這次的實習令我獲益良多。

實習後感

LINK EDUCATION 實習讓我得到與SEN學生直接接觸的機會,親身了解他們所面對的問題及困難,能夠以我所學到的知識及教學技巧幫助他們學習。另外,從預備教材的過程中,我可以重新溫習過去所學的心理學知識,並加深了解如何把理論實踐於教學上。

My internship @ Link Education

Working here at Link Education is a fun learning experience. Just because you work as an intern, doesn’t mean you will be doing the routine stuff from beginning to end. In fact a wide range of tasks awaits you. You may start off easy by doing various researches and giving feedbacks to existing programs about its design, structure or implementation. Later on you may even be asked to contribute any games or activities that can be used along with the making of the teaching materials.

Just like playing video games, the difficulty increases as you move along and it only gets harder and harder. If you still think the work is easy and not challenging enough. Wait till you are asked to create a story using PowerPoint on various topics such as reasons for forgetting homework and cross racial marriage. The challenge here is to test your resourcefulness and creativity to make the story as interesting and lively as possible to appeal to the students.

As stated in the job description, there will be an opportunity for class observations. If you are really lucky, you might even get to participate in the class and help out rather than being a plain observer. But if you are really really lucky (like me!), you might have a chance of leading a group of students and teach the class yourself.

In a nutshell, opportunities exist and there are a lot of them here at Link Education. The only thing that matters is whether you are willing to step up and take on these responsibilities.

Intern 心聲

            很珍惜這有多個「實戰」的機會,作為一個不是修讀教育的學生,卻可以有機會親身嘗試到小學教班又到中學帶組,實在不可多得。這些在前線的機會讓我擴闊眼界;藉著透過接觸不同表現的學生促使我再多動腦筋去思考導師該怎樣做才能幫助不同的學生有效吸收教學的內容,而全職同事也會熱心地分享他們跟學生相處的經驗,讓我處理學生問題的技巧更豐富,這些都是在大學學習生涯中再多看幾份學術研究刊物也未必能得到的。
